Hot Apple Cider
You will need:
  • 1 quart cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Mix together and simmer 20 to 30 minutes. Fill a big pot with this tasty cider to make it look as if it was just made by the witches!

Bug Juice
You will need:

  • 1 bottle of a green beverage, such as Lemon Gatorade or HiC Ecto Cooler
  • 2- 2L bottles of Sprite
  • 1 container of green sherbert

Mix first two ingredients in large punch bowl, add sherbert to keep the mix cool. This recipe can be doubled, tripled, etc. Add a little mint liquor
to spice up you Halloween party!


Squashed Frogs

You will need:

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 40 large marshmallows (10 oz. bag)
  • 5 cups corn flakes cereal
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons green food coloring
  • M&Ms. plain chocolate candy

Melt margarine in large saucepan. Add marshmallows and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until melted and mixture is syrupy. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and food color. Mix. Add corn flakes and M&Ms and mix until well coated and bright green. Drop from a tablespoon on a piece of wax paper and cool the globs. These slimy treats match your Halloween theme perfectly... and are delicious!
