Halloween Games
We have already suggested some Halloween games, such as a costume contest, creating haunted houses and beating a pinata.
Costume Contest
Have every dressed-up guest model their costume before a selected jury. Award prizes for the scariest costume, the cutest and the most original ones.
Haunted House
Use our props on the Halloween theme to set a haunted scenery and invite your guests to a frightful adventure. You can include a ghost pinata in your mansion to "haunt" guests as they come in. Make this the scariest Halloween party ever with our Halloween music Cds, talking skulls, glowing skeletons, zombie pinatas and many other spooky Halloween props.
Halloween Pinatas
Remember, beating the pinata is just one of the many fun steps of this original party game. Once the pinata is broken open and the party favors are spilled out, kids enjoy rushing to get as many as they can. What a competition this is to fill their loot bags! Find below some party favors on the Halloween theme that you can use to fill your pinata. The toys and candies that they get from the pinata will keep kids entertained for long!
Find below other Halloween games that you can organize for your party. Kids, teens and adults will enjoy any of this activities.
Scarecrow
Make up teams and choose a scarecrow for each. Each team will have a bag of old clothes (shirt, overalls, gloves, oversized boots or shoes, hat, etc). As a relay, each player takes a turn reaching into the team's bag to choose an item. He or she then puts it on the scarecrow being decorated. As soon as the scarecrow has the article of clothing completely on, that person runs back to tag the next team member, who must grab another item and decorate the scarecrow in turn. The first team to have all the articles of clothing on the scarecrow is the winner.
Murderer
You need about 4 or more people, paper, and a pen or pencil. Crumple up enough papers for each person to have one. Leave all the papers blank except for one, where you will write the word MURDERER. Everyone needs to take one paper and read it in silence. Sit in a circle and the murderer has to wink at the other people without getting caught. If the people get winked at they have to act dead. The other people have to guess who the murderer is before he can wink at them. The winner is the person who guesses who the murderer is. A wrong guess will "kill" that person, who has to act dead too.
Worms In a Pie
You'll need some pie tins (1 for each person playing), gummy worms, and cool whip. Put the same amount of worms in each pie tin (say 8) and cover with cool whip. Blindfold each player. At the word of "Go!" all players dip into the pie with their mouths, trying to pull out as many worms as they can. The person to get first all the 8 worms in their pie wins. This game can get messy, but it's fun for the people playing as well as for those watching!
Deja Blair Witch Party
Friends with video cameras? Invite friends to create a scary or humorous 5 minute film in the style of Blair Witch, then have a Halloween Film Festival and play the tapes. Ideas could be: running out of toilet paper in the bathroom, shopping in a mall with no credit card, can't find a costume for halloween...any ideas? So get going!
Pass The Pumpkins
Have kids sit in a circle and pass small pumpkins or gourds when the music is playing. When the music stops the child without a pumpkin is out. Continue until there's a winner.
Build A Scarecrow
Form groups and have a variety of old clothes, pillowcases for heads, markers and newspaper. Groups have 20 minutes to create a scarecrow. Give prizes to the scariest or funniest creation, then place outside.
